Surrogate Aircraft

A surrogate aircraft is a manned aircraft solution mimicking unmanned aircraft operations that take place within the National Airspace.  These missions include aerial mapping, agricultural imaging, aerial photography, and payload flights prior to UAS integration.

AUV Flight Services owns and operates a growing fleet of aircraft equipped and certified to carry various payloads.  Aircraft with removable rear doors and payload ports in the belly and on wing struts, our fleet can provide safe, reliable, and efficient means for your surrogate needs.

Geospatial Data Collection

Teamed with our GIS partners, AUV supports data acquisition for geo-referenced images, 3D cut-and-fill volumetrics, NDVI, Activity Heat Maps, and 2D measurements. We provide our customers with top of the line aerial mapping services utilizing state of the art multispectral and hyperspectral imagers through a combined fleet of manned and unmanned aircraft.

Through our partners, AUV also provides full GIS services including analytics of captured data. With revolutionary aerial data acquisition technology, AUV flights require less flight time than other aerial mapping companies.

Aerial Photography

Using AUV’s fleet of manned aircraft, we provide professional photographers the unique opportunity to capture images from the aircraft. If you have a requirement for aerial photography but don’t have a professional photographer available, AUV is happy to provide this service.

Flight Simulation

Using our FAA Approved Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD), AUV provides training to our employees to ensure they are always operating in a safe and efficient manner.
